Oh how lovely it is, when you decide to finally marry the woman of your dream, the woman whom you want to spent the rest of your life with. But getting on with the real scenario, choosing an engagement ring can be a very hefty task. It is either you are confused whether to choose a ring with a big diamond cut, or just a simple diamond ring.

Hmmm, if you are on a budget that is also another factor to consider. Money plays a vital role especially when you are on a tight budget on times like these but still would want to show your love for her and your intention to marry her.

There are a lot of diamond engagement rings out there, but choosing over the other well that will be a great challenge. Here are few of the questions you should ask yourself before even proceeding to buying one.

1. Do you know the size of her finger?
2. Do you know the style she wants?

If your answer to these two questions are no, then it would be best to purchase the engagement ring together with her. At least you will know she will like it. However, if you love the fun of surprising her and seeing the glow out in her face as you pop out the big question, then you should be creative on trying to get the answers to the two questions above.

There are four things that you should remember upon purchasing a diamond ring:

2. Cut
3. Clarity
4. Color

All these four simply boils down on how big the diamond is and how well it reflects light. The clearer the reflection is has and the bigger the cut is, then the higher the value the diamond has. As to color, the colorless one is simply nothing but the most elegant piece of diamond.

Have you seen those Hollywood celebrities showing off their engagement rings? How they reflect well on the light and shine right through as if it will pop out from your T.V. screen? That’s what we’re talking about a real and the big deal when it comes to diamond engagement ring.

Let’s have a reality check here, you ain’t a celebrity neither is your partner, but can you afford to buy an engagement ring like those stars are wearing? If not, then stick within your budget. It is not the ring that matters but the fact that you are pursuing the next level and that is marriage then ultimately your partner will not mind it anyway.
